ADNews-Monrovia,Liberia: A few members of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s Unity Party (UP) led-administration, including Deputy Information Minister for Public Affairs Daniel O. Sando and the Director General of the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC), Mohammed Ali, have lost track of decency in carrying out their public functions and have diverted into cowardly behavior, undermining the very public trust they carry as public officials.
The duo, who hailed from abject poverty and could barely afford an average lifestyle, now lead massive arrogance campaigns, raining insults on prominent individuals and institutions in society on a daily basis in the name of politicking.
Unlike other cabinet members, the duo are willing to be misused at any given time to please their surrogates in an effort to defend their little jobs, which many see as their only qualifications for the positions they hold.
Sando, who carries the responsibility of promoting the government’s agenda, has, through his actions, caused the public to drastically change the Information Ministry’s name to the “Ministry of Ma Cus,” meaning a paradise where individuals engage in insulting others’ mothers at any given time, which has brought great shame upon the nation.
Sando has significantly insulted and continues to insult prominent opposition figures, clergymen, media institutions, and ordinary individuals whom he believes are critics of the Boakai-led administration.
As for Ali, who has been so unbothered by his failed institution and the services it provides to the public, engulfed by lies and alleged corruption, he stands ready to sacrifice anything to maintain his political favor.
Mo has re-emerged in nasty and bitter political exchanges, insulting clergymen for revealing prophecies, accusing reputable media organizations for reporting the facts, and carrying out massive social media warfare against every individual exercising their democratic rights.
Amidst their arrogance and immoral behavior, President Joseph Boakai continues maintaining silence, even though he is not just a president but elderly citizens many believe could lead by example.
