ADNews- Bong: In Bringing affordable and quick medical services to the people of Bong County, Senator Johnny K. Kpehe Sr. breaks grounds for the construction of an ambulance hub in Gbarnga, Bong County.

The hub is expected to be completed within a year and will be a vital resource for emergency medical services in the county.

 This project aims to provide a centralized location for ambulances to be stationed and readily available for emergency response.

According to him, the construction of this ambulance hub is a fulfillment of one of his major campaign promises to improve healthcare in the county.

The senator said that having a centralized location for ambulances will help reduce response time and ultimately save lives.

Accordingly, when completed the hub will also serve as a training center for emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to respond to emergency situations effectively.

He also promised to improve and equip rural health facilities, increase the number of trained healthcare workers, and provide access to affordable healthcare for all citizens in Bong County.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by community leaders, healthcare workers, and citizens of Bong County who expressed their gratification and support for Senator Kpehe’s efforts to improve healthcare in the county.

The senator however reaffirmed his commitment to the project and urged the community to support and participate in its construction and maintenance. He emphasized the importance of working together to improve the health and well-being of the people of Bong County.
