ADNews-Monrovia: The Deputy Managing Director for Administration (DMDA) at the National Housing Authority (NHA), Prince Saah Bonnah, rubbished a report published in the Friday, January 31 edition of Women Voices newspaper, which accused him of affixing his signature to an NHA receipt outside the authority’s legitimate operations. Bonnah described the accusation as unjust, misleading, and a deliberate attack on his hard-earned reputation.

In response to the publication, Bonnah clarified that the newspaper had misled the public by publishing only a partial memo instead of the full document. He explained that his signature was forged on a memo, which was then altered by cutting part of it and presented as a receipt.

“My signature was forged on a memo, and instead of publishing the entire document, they chose to manipulate it by publishing only part of it. They misrepresented the situation by claiming I, Prince Bonnah, issued a receipt outside my jurisdiction,” he said.

Bonnah challenged Women Voices to provide the full memo they referenced as the receipt, urging the newspaper to conduct a thorough fact-check to verify their claims.

He further called on the Paper to refrain from being used as a tool for political propaganda, which, according to him, unfairly targets newsmakers.
At the same time, an independent investigation into the document in question revealed several inconsistencies.
The receipt, allegedly issued by Bonnah, bore the estate manager’s phone number, email, and office letterhead.

Additionally, it featured the last three letters of NHA Managing Director Florence K. Gbeegbae’s name (“bae”) on the left side, making the document appears both complicated and contradictory.

As investigations into the alleged receipt continue further inquiries into NHA’s internal matters are expected in the coming days as efforts to uncover the truth move forward.
