Since his ascension to the position of Managing Director of the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC), while citizens continue to decry water shortages, Mo Ali has continued to behave like a headless chicken, ranging from raining insults on clergymen, denigrating media executives, prominent stakeholders for speaking truth to power, and even exposing sensitive private information to prove a political point.
In his most recent controversy, Mo Ali leaked sensitive and confidential information concerning vulnerable children benefiting from the Ministry of Gender’s Save the Future Project, as evidence to advance a political argument while defending the government against accusations of being “mean.”
LWSC Managing Director Mo Ali shared private information involving minors on his Facebook page, some of whom are allegedly victims of rape and child prostitution, sparking concerns over whether sensitive information concerning vulnerable children should be disclosed publicly for political purposes or for political goal.
Mo’s actions have fueled debate among many Liberians on the use of the words “I can dance with the devil to get state power” by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai before the campaign that pave him a way to the presidency, as his closest allies subscribed and danced to their master’s tone.
