ADNews-Monrovia: The New Genuine Insurmountable Opposition Political Party, Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE), representing its Political Leader and Standard Bearer, His Excellency Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr. and the entire National Executive Committee and Membership of the Party, extends profound condolences to the Carter Family and the Government and People of the United States for the unfortunate passing of former United States President Jimmy Carter.
MOVEE considers the death of former President Carter as a blow to global peace, democracy and human rights. The life legacy of former President Carter proved to be more than the pinnacle of political power. It was pivotal to far greater humanitarian works, tireless and relentless efforts in contributing to resolving global issues. Former President Carter will be remembered for his invaluable efforts toward the eradication of Guinea worm in Africa, resolving conflicts, support for free and fair elections around the world, including, but not limited to Liberia, through the Carter Center, and the building of homes for those in need. Yes, indeed, in his life, the late President Carter saved countless lives, brought dignity to countless more, and worked for peace throughout our world.
The Insurmountable Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE) recalls the significant role played by former President Jimmy Carter in strengthening Liberia-United States ties, evidenced by his visit to Liberia in 1978 during his Presidency. He was blessed to be the longest-lived president in United States history and the first President to live to 100 years of age, thus far.
The party remembers former President Jimmy Carter as an extraordinary leader, statesman, and humanitarian; full of enviable character and courage, hope, and optimism. He was an embodiment of a deep sense of compassion and moral clarity, he worked to eradicate disease, forge peace, advance civil rights and human rights, promote free and fair elections, house the homeless, and advocate for the least amongst mankind.
MOVEE encourages the Carter Family and the Government and People of the United States to take comfort in the life Former President Jimmy Carter lived and the lasting legacy he left behind.
