ADNews- Monrovia: The Z&C Investment Company located in Harrisburg, lower Montserrado county recently made a significant donation to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to support their daily operations. On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the Urban Affairs department received several items, including 25kg bags of rice, cutlasses (also known as weepers), and wheelbarrows.
Abdul A. Kromah, Administrative Technician in the Office of the Assistant Minister for Urban Affairs, noted, “A few weeks ago, we approached Z&C Mining Company, which operates in Harrisburg, requesting assistance. Today, we are pleased to receive logistical support and food items to enhance the city’s ordinance efforts, particularly within our Urban Affairs department.”
On behalf of the Assistant Minister for Urban Affairs, Mr. Mike Jabateh, Kromah praised Z&C’s contribution, describing it as timely and expressing assurance that the items would be used for their intended purpose.
Stanley Gaye, Human Resource Manager for Z&C Investment Company, spoke on behalf of the company, referring to the donation as their initial contribution. Gaye emphasized the company’s ongoing commitment to the ministry and stated that their support would continue.
“Recently, Honorable Jabateh approached us with a request for sanitation materials for the Urban Affairs department, not for himself but for his team,” Gaye said. “This donation is just the beginning. We believe that the government cannot tackle all issues alone; it requires the support of all sectors. We are prepared to assist whenever needed.”
