ADNews- Monrovia: The head of the Citizens Action Committee (CAC) of Liberia, Rev. Philip S Blamo is calling On the Liberian Broadcasting System (LBS) Director General, Mr. Eugene L. Fahngon to immediately desist from using state-owned media to promote parties politics in the country.

Blamo said, the function of ELBC is to disseminate government information to the general public through education, health, and entertainment. “ELBC Is also to promote government policies as well promote national peace, reconciliation and developments.”
He added that ELBC be the fulcrum of national initiatives where all Liberians regardless of political Affiliations can come together to air their differences in peace through national policies and identity.
At the same time, Blamo said Fahngon serving as Deputy Minister of Information’s Culture And Tourism under the CDC Government of former President George Weah was also promoting CDC Party policies and agenda instead of Promoting national culture through tourism.
Rev. Philip S. Blamo of CAC Liberia called on Fahngon to focus on providing quality service to LBS rather than promoting party policies.
