ADNews-Monrovia, Liberia: President Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s National Port Authority (NPA) Managing Director,  Sekou Hussein Dukuly, is accused of criminal behavior for allegedly using armed men to illegally evict chinese investors from their business facility in Bomi County in the middle of the night in an effort to dupe them and have them deported.

According to sources, Mr. Dukuly allegedly partnered with a Chinese national identified as Yang Dan to launch a multi-million-dollar business venture. Yang and several other investors reportedly provided significant funding to establish the business,  located on Dukuly’s privately owned property along the Po River in Bomi County.

After the business was established, it became entangled in legal disputes. Mr. Dukuly is accused of exploiting these legal challenges to sideline and eventually remove his Chinese partners from the venture.

As the legal proceedings reportedly turned unfavorable for him, Dukuly allegedly orchestrated a nighttime raid on the facility. On Saturday, May 31, around 10:00 p.m., officers from the Zone Six Police allegedly acted on his orders to forcibly evict the Chinese investors, confiscating their personal belongings, including vehicles and other property.

Victims, including Yang Dan, are reportedly in distress, seeking shelter, safety, and justice following the incident.

Afric Daily News had reached out to Dukuly for comment via his U.S. phone number, +17633540850, and his official Facebook Messenger, but yet to respond.

However, the investigation continues to obtain details surrounding the incident.
