ADNews-Monrovia: The New Apostolic  Church (NAC)  Liberia celebrates their long-serving, now retired  Ministers of the gospel for their maximum contribution and commitment in promoting the gospel of Jesus for decades.

On  Sunday, October 27, 2024,  members of the ministry across the country gathered at the NAC Centre Church, on Front Street in central Monrovia to grace the occasion which many view as “giving a man a flower he deserves while he is alive”.

Those celebrated are District Elder, Fredrick  Benson, and Shepherd  Robert Z. M. Kpoto.

The Ministry  characterized the two former ministers’ contribution as a major milestone in elevating NAC Liberia to where it stands, emphasizing that the two helped to position  the church to a better path in a way that its foundation will never be shaken

“Give honor to whom honor is due, they have contributed tremendously.

“They served us with love from the bottom of their heart, we see them retired but not tired. They are still serving with great commitment.  As they are receiving their physical reward today, the heavenly  Angels are celebrating them for their good work, the Church’s head in Liberia Bishop Alexander Wreh emphasized.

Memorizing the reflection of retired Elder Ben, Abednego Wamah, a member of the Church indicated that retired Minister Benson served the church for four decades.

“In 1974, he joined the NAC and served in many positions,  including Priest,  Community Evangelist (CEV), and District Evangelist (DEV).

“His sermons were mostly preached in simple English; his role as an elder was well represented in every activity within the church,”  Abednego narrated.

He pointed out that Elder Benson is hard working,  loving, committed, and loyal to serving  Christ the Savior through the Church.

Also reflecting on the retired  Shepherd, Kpoto’s services  were full of great memories as youths, children and other members of the church paid him a remarkable tribute for his services.

The church sees the retirees as exemplary characters for every member to follow to the end.

In separate remarks,  retired Elder Benson thanks and sends a word of great appreciation to the entire New Apostolic Church in Liberia.

The retired Shepherd  Kpoto,   “Thanks and praises to the Almighty God for the celebration and for the years of support and being humble in everything.”

He said he was only an instrument used by God to do what he did.

He promised to be with the church until God calls him to rest, saying he is retired but not tired.
