Koffa Removal  Gains  Significant Momentum

As 43 Lawmakers   Stand  Against Him

ADNews-Monrovia: The Majority Bloc of the House of Representatives has taken significant steps towards the removal of Speaker Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa. In a general meeting held on the evening of Saturday, October 19, in Monrovia, they reaffirmed their commitment to this resolution.

Chaired by Rep. Samuel Kogar, the Chairman of the Majority Bloc, and assisted by Co-Chairman Rep. Sékou Kanneh, the meeting welcomed two additional members of the 55th legislature, who expressed their support for the initiative aimed at restoring dignity and integrity to the House of Representatives making them 43 in number.

Representatives Marie Johnson of Grand Gedeh County and Emmanuel Yah of Margibi County joined the bloc, further solidifying its ranks.

“With their inclusion, the Majority Bloc now consists of 43 elected representatives from across Liberia’s 15 counties, all united in their support for the resolution seeking the removal of Mr. Koffa,” the bloc’s leadership stated. “This action is driven by our collective desire to restore transparency, public trust, and the dignity of the Honorable House of Representatives.”
