Indian Delegation Arrives in Liberia Under Operation Sindoor to Reaffirm Stance Against Terrorism

ADNews-Monrovia, Liberia:  As part of the Government of India’s continued efforts under Operation Sindoor, and in line with India’s principled and resolute stance against terrorism, an All-Party Parliamentary Delegation comprising Members of Parliament and a senior diplomat has arrived in Monrovia, Liberia. The visit underscores India’s unwavering message of zero tolerance towards terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

The delegation was received upon arrival by Ambassador Manoj Bihari Verma, Ambassador of India to Liberia, Representative Sekou S. Kanneh,  from District #2, Montserrado County and Chairman of the Executive Committee, and Rep. Prince A. Toles, Representative of District #8, Montserrado County, House of Representatives of Liberia.

  3. Mr. Atul Garg – Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)
  4. Dr. Sasmit Patra – Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Biju Janata Dal (BJD)
  5. Mr. Manan Kumar Mishra – Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)
  6. Mr. S.S. Ahluwalia – Former Member of Parliament and Former Minister of State, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)
  7. Ambassador Sujan Chinoy – Former Ambassador to Japan and Mexico, and Former Consul General of India in Shanghai and Sydney

During their stay in Monrovia from May 31 to June 2, the delegation is scheduled to hold high-level meetings with the President of Liberia, Speaker of the House of Representatives, President Pro-Tempore of the Senate, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, the delegation will engage with prominent think tanks and media representatives to further strengthen bilateral relations between India and Liberia and exchange perspectives on global counterterrorism efforts.

This visit signifies another step in India’s global diplomatic outreach to promote peace, security, and international cooperation against terrorism.
