ADNews-Monrovia, Liberia: The Bishop of the Independent Catholic Church of Liberia (ICCL), Bishop Nimley Jarbokly Donyen, has ordained two Reverend Fathers into the priesthood, symbolizing their full authority to serve Christ and the Church.
The ordination ceremony took place on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the church’s national headquarters in Monrovia. Those ordained were Rev. Father Beyan Kolubah and Rev. Father Philip Blamoh Nimley.
Delivering a special message during the ceremony, Bishop Donyen urged the newly ordained priests to uphold Christian values at the highest level, dedicate themselves to winning souls for Christ, and remain faithful throughout their lives.
Rev. Fathers Kolubah and Nimley both expressed deep commitment to serving Christ wholeheartedly and promoting the doctrines of the Independent Catholic Church of Liberia and globally.
The event was attended by family members, congregants of the church, and invited guests, marking a significant moment in the life of the Church and the newly ordained priests.
Family members of the ordained priests expressed fervent appreciation to Bishop Nimley and the Church at large for selected their family members to croos of Christ and win souls for Christ.
At the end of the event, gifts were presented to the newly priests by Church members , guest and family as a way of congratulating them in their new role.
