ADNews-Monrovia, Liberia: Thanks to the Catholic Relief Services and Latter Day Saints Church and all other donors who contributed money for the construction of a water tower in my community, Red Hill Community, Johnsonville Township, Montserrado County, Liberia. It is said that the tower can store 12,000 gallons of water. To God be the glory for this great help to Red Hill Community, Johnsonville Township.
I also learned that the Managing Director of the Liberia Water Sewer Corporation said that the total cost of this project is US$384,000.00 (three hundred and eighty-four thousand United States dollars).
I am sorry to say that this amount is too huge and should not be associated with the building of this tower and the additional two smaller towers that are in Red Hill Community, Johnsonville Township.
The highest that the construction of this tower and the other two smaller towers can cost is about $25,000.00.
A pipeline was already in Red Hill Community. The pipeline was built in 2017.
I bought all the pipes. I paid all the young men in Red Hill Community, Johnsonville Township, who manually dug the waterline.
I also paid all the young men in Red Hill Community, Johnsonville Township, who manually broke the rocks that were in the way of the pipeline.
Except for the two-inch pipes, which may be about 20 feet long, that connect the tower to the 4-inch pipe that I bought for the community, I don’t know why they say the entire work cost US$384,000.00.
Again, I say that the waterline or pipeline that I built in Red Hill Community, Johnsonville Township, between December 2016 up to June 2017 is 5,000 feet long. It is to this waterline that the two-inch pipe that pumps water into the tower is connected.
I am appealing to CRS and Latter Day Saints and all other donors who contributed to the construction of the water tower in Red Hill Community, Johnsonville Township, Montserrado County, Liberia, that was dedicated last week Friday, May 2, 2025, to please check the financial reports that were sent to them.
