Unknown Men Trespass   Sethi Company

ADNEws-Monrovia: A group of unknown individuals led by a man only identified as Peter C.  Dorkpoh Jr. attempted encroaching on Sethi  Ferro  Fabrik Steel Company within the Chicken Soup Factory Community, along the Japan Free Way in Monrovia but got resisted by the Liberia National Police.

The lead, Peter demanded the company to create 300 job opportunities for his followers, saying it’s his entitlement.

Even though he alleged that it is  a sure responsibility of the company to provide such immunity, he failed to provide proof to back his claim.

In reaction to Peter’s action,  the Community authorities condemned his behavior and characterized it as unjust to the company.

During the protest, Mr.  George Champ Willicor  an Administrative Head of the Community Watch Team in Districts 11, 12 and 13 Montserrado County also the Formal Chairman for Business Development and Training Liberia Business Association condemned characterized their action  and big mistake and tactic to fear investors.

“This is an Industrial Pack,  they have over 15 companies  in here, why should one stage protest against a single company for the action of the entire Industrial Pack?” George demanded an answer.

Speaking with the Youth President, Nehemiah T.N JOHNSON  of Chicken Soup Factory Community, he defied  Peter to provide  any proof of his allegations, termed his action as unlawful and unacceptable.

” Peter C. Dorkpo Jr. the former Youth President no longer resides in our Community.  The last time we checked, Peter said he is preparing to contest for the Country’s  Presidency come 2029. He shouldn’t be using any kind of means to gain popularity. In fact, all those behind him are not from here including himself. The Community Youth President stated.

In reaction to Peter’s protest,   another group of youths believed to be residents of the community assembled  to applauds the company for their cordial cooperation with the community over the years.

They pleaded with the company to continue their kind gesture instead of listening to what they called irrelevant noise from strangers.

Meanwhile, the  Chicken Soup Factory General Chairman,   Mr. William T.K Nyango condemned the protesters,  saying the Community is working very closely with the company.

According to Nyango,  the company has been responsive to the plights of the Community single-handedly even though there are several  companies occupying the Industrial Pack where the company is situated.

The Liberia National Police however managed to calm the situation,  asked the protesters to leave,  follow the right channel and disengage in an unlawful act.
