ADNews-Monrovia: National whistleblower Daniel Jackson, who exposed widespread corruption at the Liberia Refugee Repatriation and Resettlement Commission (LRRRC), has expressed deep disappointment in the Boakai-led administration for its failure to act on the case and prosecute those involved.

Speaking with Afric Daily Newspaper in Monrovia on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, Jackson strongly criticized the government for procrastinating in prosecuting Patrick Worzie, the suspended head of LRRRC, and his deputies, who are accused of embezzling over a million  United States Dollars.

He described the executive delay as a serious sabotage to  fighting  corruption,  undermining  the  ARREST  Agenda and risking his life as a  National  Whistleblower

“I have dedicated my life to ensuring that Patrick Worzie and his associates are brought to justice,” Jackson emphasized. “With the overwhelming evidence I’ve provided, all we see is Patrick Worzie and his associates walking around freely after embezzling state resources, even as the country faces abject poverty. President Boakai’s refusal to take action against them is clearly undermining the development of our nation.”

Continuing his push for accountability, Jackson released additional documents showing that the actions of Worzie and his associates did not only harm the public sector but also affected private businesses that provided services to the LRRRC under Worzie’s leadership.

The tireless anti-corruption advocate revealed that despite the Liberian government’s budget covering expenditures for the return of refugees, private business owners are still owed significant amounts of money for their services.

He shared documents detailing how a transport company that repatriated Liberians from the Ghana Refugee Camp was duped by LRRRC in fulfilling their contractual agreement under Worzies

“If the President claims there is not enough evidence to prosecute Patrick Worzie and his associates for their criminal activities, I can provide even more classified evidence,” Jackson declared.

The call for action grows louder as Jackson remains steadfast in his efforts to hold those responsible for corruption accountable, urging the government to take immediate steps to address the issue and restore justice.
