Fellow citizens, members of the Central Revolutionary Council (CRC) and Fighters of the Economic Freedom Fighters of Liberia (EFFL); religious leaders and international organizations near Monrovia. 

Fighters, our attention has been drawn to ongoing protest in Grand Bassa County in which progressive forces including the EFFL Grand Bassa County Command is part of. We are informed through our Bassa Command of misbehavior of 

state securities who are acting on the instructions of the  Executive branch to manhandle our people because Grand Bassa is not providing political accomodation for the 

ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC). Fellow citizens, the police have now gone beyond the standard operating procedures and resulted in a militia style uncivilized approach in dealing with our people. The Liberian constitution grants our people the freedom to protest whenever they deem necessary and therefore such rights should never be aborted by an autocrat. The CRC of the EFFL supports the action of our people in demanding their rights. The consistent brutalization of our people across the country by unethical state securities has reached its peak and must stop immediately. We demand full respect for our citizens and fighters that are protesting in Grand Bassa and ask the Government to play a listening role rather than beating our people like animals. This is not the Government our people elected because such behavior can never occur under a Government that respects democracy.
