A Liberian Woman,Ma. Fatu Bobor accuses  several other of stealing a  53.3 carat  Diamond worth   about  US$10M from her   Lofa River #9 Claim, F survey  in Smith town, Gbapolu County.

The 75 years old Fatu  who claims to be a class C License Miner  accused  her worker only identified as  Mohammed Kamara  and Commonly Known as Junior for stealing  the diamond from her #9 mining claims on Friday April 28  2023 and decamped with it to Monrovia. 

“The Diamond was found in my claim on the Ramadan day when  we were away  from the site to observe our holy month celebration.  Junior founded the Diamond, took it to a neighbors, one Mary Ben , Musa and later  handed it over to Amara Kamara  another  Diamond broker in Monrovia Ma.Fatu who claims to be the real owner of the 53.3  carat of Diamond told the news Men in Monrovia.

She also accused the Assistant Minister for Mines at the Mines and Energy Ministry, Emmanuel  T.T Swen for foul play in an investigation conducted by him that allowed  her worker “Junior” with his cartel  to stay hold onto the Diamond that belongs  to her.

However, the 75  years old Ma. Fatu  is calling  on every meaningful  Liberian,  the international community, government and other stakeholders to intervene  and make sure the Multi million dollars worth of Diamond is turned over to her  to give her worker his share according to their  mining  rules and laws.
