The CEO Of Jetty Trading Corporation,  Former Indian Honorary Consul General To Liberia  also a Business Tycoon, Dr. Upjit Singh Sachdeva, (Jetty) Led his team at the Monrovia Central prison “South Beach” and fed 1240 inmates on Sunday  January 29, 2023.

Over the years Mr. Jeety and his team have been carrying out the feeding exercise for not only inmates but also other vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the society who are challenged and can hardly fend for themselves.

A package of cooked food for each inmate contained rice, beans, chicken, soft drink and water, among others

Jeety used Sundayโ€™s food distribution exercise to again continue to appeal to other business people to see the need to give to the needy, suggesting that โ€œnobody has gotten poor by giving.โ€

“Today I am calling on all my fellow businessmen to give to  neediest, if every Business man can feed at least ten neediest no one will be hungry in the Society,  Jeety encourages others to joint  Philanthropism 

Meanwhile,  the Deputy Prison Superintendent, Mr. Joel Justin G. Juah hailed Jeety for multiple support to their inmates and the Facility  at all times. 

According  to him, Jeety has contributed  beyond  feeding the prisoners at the Monrovia Central Prison  as he installed  pure water pipes  within  their facilities among others. 

“Today we have 1240 inmates  that will benefit from the gesture  and will remain  humble  to receiving your numerous kind gestures at all times”, the Deputy Prison Superintendent  asserted.
