With Drug, Weapons and Ammunition

The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has made a significant arrest following a brutal drug raid at Miami Beach, resulting in injuries to several officers, with one currently in intensive care at John F. Kennedy Hospital.  The Nimba County District#7   Representative Musa Hassan Bility’s son, Peace Bility, was apprehended along with at least four others during the operation.

According to  intelligence, the raid took place on Sunday evening, March 24, 2024. Peace Bility, who is purported to control the beach, was found in possession of large quantities of drugs and firearms. He was arrested with 500 grams of marijuana, 24.1 grams of Kush, a single-barrel gun, and two pistols, along with ammunition discovered in his car.

Reports indicate that Bility instructed his associates to resist arrest, resulting in a violent confrontation that left at least four LDEA officers injured, one critically. While Bility and four others were apprehended, the majority of the group managed to evade capture.

On Thursday, March 28, the LDEA charged and sent the suspects to court for prosecution. Bility faces charges related to the unlicensed possession, sale, and distribution of controlled substances.

In response to his son’s arrest, Rep. Musa Hassan Bility acknowledged the situation, emphasizing his son’s status as an adult responsible for his actions. He expressed confidence in the justice system to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure accountability for all parties involved. Additionally, he extended condolences to the victims and their families affected by drug-related issues.
