Distinguished members of the National Executive Committee and Partisans of this great Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE), fellow Liberians and members of the press.

Today marks another historic day in the existence of the Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE). We have gathered here to unveil and dedicate the party’s newly constructed political and intellectual center. This center, constructed through the innovation of the party’s leadership, will serve as a platform for the provision of credible and fact-based information for MOVEE’s partisans and Liberians at large. It will also serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas and intellectual discourses. It will be a breeding center for enhancing the intellectual capacity of MOVEE’s partisans, especially the youth.

As we unveil and dedicate this political and intellectual center today, I wish to state that this center will give regular political updates and information to executives, members, sympathizers, and well-wishers of the Movement for Economic Empowerment. As a globally acceptable practice, this center should be dedicated in honor of a personality who has immensely contributed to the existence and operations of MOVEE. 

In this light, following a sitting of the National Executive Committee and coupled with consultations done among the general partisan base of MOVEE across the fifteen (15) counties of Liberia, we unanimously, wholeheartedly, and deservingly unveil, dedicate, and name this hall in honor of MOVEE’s Political Leader, His Excellency Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr. The center will be called: ”HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR DEE-MAXWELL KEMAYAH, SR POLITICAL & INTELLECTUAL CENTER”. The decision to dedicate and name this center in honor of Ambassador Kemayah is in deep appreciation of his years of commitment, loyalty, and support to the formation, existence, and operations of MOVEE. As one of the key founders of the party, Ambassador Kemayah authored the constitution and several other important documents of the party. He became the first elected national chairman of the MOVEE. When many saw MOVEE as a dead party, when the visibility of MOVEE was seemingly lost, when MOVEE structures were inactive, and when the presence of MOVEE was absent in the counties, it took the astute leadership of Ambassador Kemayah to restore and reactivate MOVEE. The New MOVEE, under the political leadership of His Excellency Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Kemayah, Sr., is moving forward. He has instituted a strong and new way of politicking, void of militancy and toxicity. This great and globally revered diplomat, Ambassador Kemayah, has made MOVEE one of the political forces in the body politics of Liberia, so much so that the Insurmountable Movement for Economic Empowerment will  tomorrow host the first largest political coalition in Liberia’s political history on Saturday, April 8, 2023.

The AMBASSADOR DEE-MAXWELL KEMAYAH, SR POLITICAL & INTELLECTUAL CENTER” will host this historic occasion that will see the gathering of thousands of partisans of six (6) political parties, including MOVEE, PLP, UPP, ULD, CDA, RDC. This great political gathering will mark the signing of a framework document that joins or commits these six parties to the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), culminating in the Grand Coalition for Democratic Change. The nine (9) constituent members of the CDC, including MOVEE, will vigorously mobilize their members to support the reelection of His Excellency President Dr. George Manneh Weah in the 2023 Legislative and Presidential Elections.

As we climax the unveiling and dedication of this historic political and intellectual center, I urge all members of the MOVEE to see this center as theirs. The Media & Communications arm of the party, in collaboration with the leadership of the National Youth League, will oversee the active and regular functioning of this center. On behalf of our political leader, in whose name this center has been named, and the National Executive Committee, I assure all MOVEE’s partisans and the public that the Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Kemayah, SR. Political and Intellectual Center,” will be supported, maintained, and active.
