President George Weah  dismissed his  Post and Telecommunication  Minister,  Cllr. Cooper W. Kruah with immediate effect and replaces   him with  former Nimba County district #7  lawmaker,Cllr. Worlea-Saywah Dunah days after  Minister  Kruah attended  the naming ceremony of his political Leader, Jeremiah Koung as running mate to the    Mainstream Opposition Unity  Party UP  Standard bearer, Joseph Boakai.

The Liberian Leader   replaced  Cllr.  Kruah with Cllr.  Dunnah  late Monday evening, May 1, 2023 and thereafter  subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate

Minister Kruah’s dismissal came hours after Montserrado County District #8 Representative Acarous Gray strongly condemned his action and urged him to resign with immediate effect.

The political  instability of Cllr. Kruah  who is also the Chairman of the Movement for Democracy and Reconstruction MDR  began  when he was spotted at the naming ceremony of his political Leader, Nimba County Senator Jeremiah Koung  by the opposition Unity Party  Standard bearer, Joseph Boakai as his running mate over the weekend in Monrovia.

Right after the UP political  gathering,  a strong  member from the ruling  Coalition for Democratic  Change CDC, Montserrado County  district #8 Lawmaker  and Chairman on the Executive at the lower house   wrote on his social media page and said,  “The Traitor Cooper Kruah, Minister of Post and Telecommunications must resign and resign now. You are a dangerous sellout and Good to have lunch with you on Monday. No room for political polytheists and quislings”.

No later than the Monday  Rep. Gray promised to have lunch with Minister  Kruah, the  Minister   was  dismissed and replaced  for political  reasons.
