USD 650,000  Sets For Boakai, Koung Inauguration

 To Host  5000 Guests 

The Joint  Presidential Transition Team (JPTT),of the president  and the Vice President elect,  Joseph Nyumah Boakai and Jeremiah Kpan Koung  has approved  the sum of USD 650,000 for the inaugural ceremony  expected  to be held on Monday January 22, this year.

 Speaking at their joint meeting today held at the Foreign Affairs Minister,  the heads of the team, Foreign Minister,  Maxwell  Saah Kemayah who precides on behalf  of the outgoing Coalition for Democratic Change  government,  and Atty. Samuel  Kofi Woods  on the side of the incoming  Unity Party  government disclosed  that all is set to have a peaceful   democratic  transition. 

“We  received a report from the Inaugural Committee,  the budget has been approved by  the outgoing President, George  Weah to make sure that the inauguration is  second to none in the world,”  Atty Woods   stated. 

According  to him, they are expecting  to receive   every  other necessary report relating  to the  inaugural  process by next week .

Meanwhile,  Minister Kemayah  added  that  the JPTT  is  prepared to host 5000 guests  for Boakai, Koung  Inauguration.
