Montserrado County District #8 Lawmaker, Acarous Moses Gray on Thursday donated several medical equipment to health centers across his constituency as contribution to the wellbeing of residents in the district.
Presenting the items to the medical institutions at his Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) district office in Plumkor Community, Monrovia, Gray extolled health workers of his district and Liberia at large for the immense sacrifices they continue to render to the health sector of the country.
The CDC Lawmaker emphasized that health workers in Liberia take enormous risk to deliver health services to Liberians as such they need to be applauded for their services to humanity.
He maintained that the challenges health workers go through is sufficient to save the entire nation, citing that if it was not for the services of public servants like health workers, teachers as well as others, the public wouldn’t get the kind of relief needed for a better livelihood.
Meanwhile, Rep. Gray has said that the donation of medical supplies by his office is done on a regular basis, citing that his office donates health supplies to medical centers once or twice a year.
He disclosed that seven institutions comprising seven clinics and the Seventh Days Adventist Cooper hospital will benefit from the health gesture to boost their capacities in catering to the health needs of the public.

For his part, Thomas Worloba, one of the beneficiaries and the Officer in-Charge of the Grace of God Medical Clinic, thanked the district #8 Lawmaker for his donation, confirming that it is not the first time the CDC official has identified with his entity.

Woloba called on health workers in the district to form an association where they will be able to network in terms of health emergencies or challenges.
“It is good for us to come together. Maybe someone may be incapacitated in their area and will need to call their colleague in the other area for them to exchange ideas,” the Grace of God Clinic top employee maintained.
Also, the Nursing Director at the Seventh-Day Adventist Cooper Hospital, Christine Geekor extolled Rep. Gray for the kind gesture stressing that the medical items will be of major use for her institution.
