NPP Suspends  Chairman Biney

The National Patriotic Party NPP  has  suspended their party Chairman, Senator  James P. Biney for failing to sign the Coalition Framework Document  to support president Weah second  bid.

“The refusal of Senator Biney to sign the Coalition Framework Document after being mandated by two thirds of the majority members of the NEC of the Party is in violation of section 8.7 (a) & (e) of the 2004 Constitution”, NPP National Executive Committee  maintained. 

Meanwhile, Chairman Biney has been ordered by the National Executive Committee to submit himself to the Grievance and Ethics Committee in three working days to show cause for his acts of insubordination and disrespect to the National Executive Committee, failure to do so, he shall be considered automatically expelled

According  to their  Party Executive Committee, the party  Vice Chairman for Administration, George S. Mulbah will  steer the affairs of the party pending the outcome of the investigation.
