ADNews- Monrovia: The Liberia Institute  of Statistics and Geo-Information Services  LISGIS, has announced 97 percent of  their provisional result ,, r right x ,dz, z report 4AM x 5 Zd c5R AM ,in v   2022  National  population  and  Housing Census  LNPHC,  ⁴,c  to  five Millions  two hundred and forty eight thousands six hundred twenty one (,,

Their provisional result  indicated that the male population makes up 50.4 percent, two million six hundred and four thousands  one hundred seventy one (2,604,171) while female population is accounts for 49.6 percent  indicating  two millions six hundred and four thousands one hundred seventy one (2,604,171)  giving a national sex ratio of 101.5 males for every  100 females.

Their 2022 LNPHC Provisional Census results has ,s,also revealed that Montserrado County accounts for 37 percent of the total population enumerated, followed by Nimba County (12 percent), Bong County (9 percent), sz,,,,and Lofa County (7 percent). 1,.BMW m.

“These four Counties constitute nearly two-thirds (65 percent) of Liberia’s total population. Rivercess County (1.7 percent) and Gbarpolu County (1.8 percent) account for less than four percent of the population, followed by Grand Kru County (2.1 percent) and River Gee County (2.4 percent)”, their  LNPHC 2022 result revealed. 

The Acting Director General of the  Liberia Institute of Statistics and Geo-Information Services, Mr. Lawrence  George  noted that their LISGIS 2004 act  shows, only aggregated data is allowed to be reported which is the international norm for Census data dissemination. “The Act places a legal restriction on publishing data and/or information about individuals. All personal details are protected and removed from 

publications and datasets to protect the confidentiality of respondents. This is consistent with international standard practices”.

Furthermore,  1,187,388 households were reported enumerated  with an average  national household size of 4.4 percent  while the national population density is 140 persons per square
