LDEA Female  Officer Wins Yearly Award

A Female Officer at the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA), Madam   Martha Goll Massally   who  exposed and linked government officials in to drug deal, under  the  passed Weah regime,  has received the  Female Security Expert award  of the year  for performing well in the greatest interest of the country and its people. 

In an occasional marking the 25th anniversary of the Global News Network (GNN) Media Group,  the management of the  Institution   honored  Madam Massally as a female Security expert  and honored several others for their great contributions  in the society.

The Honoring  program took place at the YMCA Building over the weekend in Central Monrovia  with huge  attendance who went  to witness and receive their awards.

During the program, the   GNN Expert Female  Honoree , Martha Goll Massally  showed gratitude to  GNN family  for  recognizing what she termed as  the sacrifice services  they continue to offer for the country.

Meanwhile,  she hailed the LDEA Boss designate, Abraham  Kromah and said she believes that  he will help to tackle the  drug in Liberia. 

The GNN award was not only limited to the female security expert but  individuals and institutions in their respective functions. 

The Liberian former president,  George Weah was honored as the Man of the year,  National Elections Commission Chairman,  Davidetta Browne Lansannah- Woman of the year,  Senator Nyomblee Karngar  Lawrence- Politician of the year,

Senator Saah Joseph- Humanitarian of the year,  Madam Mary Tanyonoh  Broh- Public servant of the year, UN Women Liberia- International NGO of the year,  Accountability Lab LiberiA- National NGO of the year ,  ArcelorMittal Liberia- Foreign Investment of the year, Bukonjadeh Group of Companies- Financial Institution of the year,  Conex Petroleum Group of Companies- Committed Company of the year,  Mr. James Henric Pearson, II- Male Security Expert of the year, Cyber-Ed Christian School of Excellence- Academic Institution of the year, Mr. Fumba  Trawally- Business Man &  Humanitarian of the year,  Truth FM 96.1- Radio Station of the year, Mrs. Christiana Johnson Morris- Teacher of the year, Master Benedict Tokpa Danuweli- Youth Leader Extraordinaire of the year,  Mr. Jefferson  Knight- Right Advocate of the year and  Wilhemina Myeonway Cooper- Businesswoman of the year.

Giving  a brief history about the Institution,  the Management of GNN explained  that  the GNN was established in 1999 by a Liberian Journalist, Joel Cholo Brooks who previously served as a  Correspondent for several international newa wires including  the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), African Service where he professionally and lengthily covered the Liberian civil war from 1989to 1990.
