Afric  Daily Newspaper; Monrovia- Government to lose hundreds of Millions United dollars  as her mandate through the Liberia Revenue Authority LRA  to impose that every alcoholic beverage  sold in Liberia  carries a  special sticker is being  undermined for self gratification by Men only Identified as  Roosevelt T. Wilson  who claims to be  a Senior Inspector at the LRA

The implementation of the stickers which started about three months later with the amount of US$150,000 fine for non compliance is yielding no fruit   as  about 80% of the local and imported alcoholic beverages  in the Market are sold with no  LRA Stamp  while Wilson  is being  used as a rescue boat

Unless  Beer Factory beverages,  the entire local  and foreign beverages  including: NICOM products,  RITCO , L.R Distillery  Lib. Inc., National  Beverage  Company  and  INBERIA M&T IMPEX among    others  have failed  to Comply  by the full mandate.

During  the inquiring   by Journalists   with various  Representatives  from the above companies,   all  placed calls to Wilson ,  while  he instructed  them not to  respond to anyone  as Journalists  have nothing  to  know about public  law.

” I continue  to tell you Journalists  it’s  not your business, go and write  anything you want to write. I am Roosevelt Wilson  the Senior  Inspector   of the Liberia Revenue  Authority”, Wilson  responded  in an angry  mood.

However, one of the dealers who conferred in Journalists  but pleaded  anonymity  said, Wilson with his team of inspectors is receiving  kickbacks  to cover them up in the process.

Investigation  Continues.
