“Fellow Compatriots.
Today, on this historic day as the campaign is launched for the Presidential and Legislative elections , I stand before you as a candidate for the presidential election. I come before you as a Servant In-Charge and Presidential Candidate of the Liberia First Movement, a political party that is dedicated to creating a Liberia that we truly deserve—a Liberia built on inclusiveness, justice, reconciliation, security, industrialization of our agriculture and mining sectors, accountability, education, healthcare, social justice, empowerment, and development. Together, we will strive for a prosperous and just Liberia,” Kouyateh claimed.
LFM Political leader said, they envision a nation where every citizen has a voice and where their needs are addressed.
According to him, they are not just participants but are visionaries who have a deep understanding of the aspirations and expectations of Liberians.
Mr. Kouyateh maintained that their campaign is not driven by hatred, division, or exclusion but characterized the process as an opportunity to make a united nation, regardless of their differences through electing leaders who will serve Liberia faithfully for the next six and nine years.
Going further, he names the following as their manifesto:
“In our vision for Liberia, we recognize the importance of industrializing our agriculture and mining sectors. We understand the potential they hold to drive economic growth, create jobs, and reduce our reliance on imports. We will make strategic investments to modernize our agricultural practices, support our farmers, and promote value-added processing. In the mining sector, we will ensure responsible and sustainable practices that benefit our people and contribute to the overall development of our nation.
“Accountability is a cornerstone of our agenda. We will establish robust systems to combat corruption and ensure that public funds are used transparently and efficiently. We will hold our leaders accountable for their actions, fostering a culture of integrity and responsible governance. We believe that every Liberian should have confidence in their government and trust that their resources are being utilized for their benefit.
“Education and healthcare are fundamental rights that we will prioritize. We will invest in quality education, providing access to education for all Liberian children. We will improve educational infrastructure, enhance teacher training, and promote vocational and technical education. In healthcare, we will work towards universal access to quality healthcare services, strengthening healthcare systems, and ensuring the availability of essential medicines and healthcare professionals.
“Social justice will guide our policies and actions. We will strive to reduce inequality, eliminate discrimination, and empower marginalized groups, including women, youth, and persons with disabilities. We will promote gender equality and ensure that all citizens have equal rights and opportunities. In our Liberia, fairness and justice will prevail.
“Empowerment will be at the heart of our approach. We will create an enabling environment for job creation and entrepreneurship. We will support small and medium-sized enterprises, provide access to finance, and foster innovation and technology. By empowering our people, we will unlock their potential and drive sustainable development across Liberia.
“As I stand before you today, I humbly ask for your vote. I ask for your support so that I can fulfill the aspirations and expectations of the Liberian people. Together, let us build a Liberia that we can all be proud of—a Liberia that stands as a beacon of progress, justice, and prosperity.”
