Liberian Foreign Minister also a political leader of the opposition Movement for Economic employment MOVEE, D. Maxwell Saah Kemaya eyes Liberian presidency in 2029 as his party holds an emergency Convention, Declares support to Weah Weah Presidential bid so they can be second to none in 2029 general and Presidential elections.
Over the weekend, MOVEE’s conducted a Special National Emergency Convention with 75 delegates at their Paynesville headquarters and unanimously voted to formerly join the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change and support President weah reelection in 2023 so they can become a formidable force in 2029 Presidential and general elections.
Kemaya said, the best, suited and qualified political candidate for MOVEE to support is CDC and President Weah as they have resolved not to field a Presidential candidate for 2023.
” I have come to report to the Congress the responsibility given me to make a formidable coalition in the upcoming elections.
The ruling Coalition for Democratic Change is the only Coalition I can assure we can align with to make a positive impact”, MOVEE Political leader asserted.
He encouraged the Congress presence to champion the CDC campaign and give President Weah one term victory in the October 2023 elections.
The Chairman of the party, Mr. Robert samie however noted that their decision came about, after the authorized their political leader Mr. Kemaya on Sunday October 9, 2022 to find a possible alignment with political party to support during 2023 elections.
” We instructed our political leader and vision bearer to negotiate with any political party whose philosophy aligned with ours to form a coalition for 2023 Presidential general elections”, MOVEE’s chairman Samie told their congress.
