Government orders autopsy on Charlotte remains

Monrovia, March 6, 2, 2023: The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) has ordered the conduct of an autopsy on the remains of Charloe Musu, who died at the home of former Chief Justice Gloria Musu on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Justice Minister Frank Musah Dean Jr. has said the autopsy is necessary in light of the ongoing investigation to determine, through a scientific method, the cause of death of young Charloe.

This, he said, will aid the Liberia National Police unravel the facts and circumstances that led to her death.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Justice is admonishing all political actors, bloggers, the media, commentators and pundits to refrain from wild speculations, allegations and inferences about the ongoing  investigation.

“Second-guessing  the direction of LNP’s ongoing investigation is unwarranted and uncalled for,” the Attorney General asserted.
