An unconfirmed report reaching Afric Daily Newspaper indicates that despite the huge mobilization and cash spent during the recent political campaign activities, the opposition Liberian National Union (LINU), political leader, Dr. Clarence Monibah secured only 13 votes across the country.
Accordingly, he received seven votes in his home County; Lofa, three in Montserrado, two in Gbarpolu and one in Grand Gedeh County making his total votes to 13.
Clarence is the youngest son of Liberia’s former Vice President, Dr. Harry F. Moniba, who hailed from Lofa, served in that capacity from 1984 to 1990.
He leads the Liberian National Union (LINU). On January 19, 2023 he announced his presidential candidacy in the 2023 Liberian presidential elections.
