In highest Quality Cement Production
The Fouta Cement Corporation on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 received one of the prestigious media awards for producing and supplying quality and high grade cement on the Liberian market.
A media advocacy group under the banner ‘ Media for Consumer Protection ‘ honored the Fouta Cement Corporation as the best cement industry in Liberia.
The ceremony which took place at the offices of the corporation on 17th Street in Sinkor, Monrovia , was witnessed by members of the press, officials and staff of the Fouta Cement Corporation.
Presenting the certificate of honor to the honoree on behalf of the Media for Consumer Protection, the group National Coordinator Samuel A. Hasay describes the Fouta Cement as the best cement among the rest of the cement in Liberia. According to him, the selection of Fouta Cement Corporation as the best among the three cement industries in the country was based on an independent survey and opinion poll conducted with consumers in thirteen of the fifteen counties of Liberia.
Mr. Hasay said the consumers praise Fouta cement describing it as the best and quality cement for construction of buildings, bridges , wells, molding blocks and road constructions among others.
The consumer advocacy group National Coordinator revealed that during the nationwide survey, it was established that Fouta Cement is the leading cement in construction work because of the durable content it gives to construction projects.
The media group extols Fouta Cement Corporation for producing quality product and creating jobs to reduce unemployment as well as contributing immensely to the growth of the Liberian economy and the government’s development agenda .
The media group describes Fouta Cement Corporation as the giant in the cement industry in Liberia and praises the company’s CEO Mohammad Sow for establishing the only indigenous cement industry in Liberia.
Receiving the certificate of honor on behalf of Fouta Cement Corporation, the Chief Executive officer, Mr. Mohammed Sow thanked the media group for the honor . He said the focus and primary concern of his company is to produce quality cement at an affordable price that will meet the desire of the consumers and serve as a lasting solution to their construction needs.
Mr. Sow also used the occasion to appreciate the Liberian government for creating the conducive environment for him to make such a huge financial investment. He promised to ensure that the Fouta cement will be supplied to every part of the country in order for everyone in the country to have easy access to buying the cement.
In a related development, the Media for Consumer Protection also gown the CEO of Fouta Cement Corporation Mr. Mohammed Sow for being the only Liberian to invest in the cement industry and standing tall among the rest of the cement industries in Liberia .
