The Chairman of Team Cummings for 2023 Elections, Amb. Lewis Browne  called for  the establishment of the Independent supreme  Court to save  Liberia’s fragile peace:  now, during and after  the elections and said, the current  Court is  setting them  for danger and disaster.

“There is  so  much impunity in the Country as Liberia is heading into chaos, Silence is only acting to create the space of lawlessness as it has become normal to be lawless”, Amb. Browne  stated  at  the CPP Thursday  March  22 press  Conference  in Monrovia.

He accuses the Supreme  Court  of Liberia of being  silent  over several  constitutional  bridges including  the National  Elections Commission  failing  to demarcate the new Constituencies  after   the  Liberia Institute of Statistics and Geo-Information Services LISGIS  announced  the  new increase  in population.

He also   alleged that   there is an ongoing  voter  trucking  process in districts  and Counties across  the Country which  is unlawful  according  to the 2014 new elections law   and those in  Authority lips remain  tied  to speak to it.

However,  Amb. Browne  called on  the government  to act fearlessly and end the lawlessness  attitude  now, during and after  the October  elections  or they may be setting the Country  to chaos.

“The law says you must be registered in the place closest to where  you reside according to 2014 new elections  law, but People  are  infiltrating

from  neighboring Countries  and  counties  to register into places they are not residing”, he asserted.

Meanwhile, Team Cummings  Chairman for 2023  calls on President  Weah to nullify  the bill on his desk  which  states that those who will be elected   must be permitted to take seats  while  the cases are on appeal  if there’s any election  malpractices  reported against them.

He warned the Citizens to be aware that  Cheating does not start  on the day of elections, but   if the process   begins  with fraud, the election will end problematically.
