To Purify Water

A Liberian Clergyman, humanitarian and a  politician, Bishop Nimley J. Donyen carried out the distribution  of filter buckets over the weekend,  on Saturday January 20, in  District #2 Montserrado to keep the sanitation alive.

According to Bishop Donyen,  the distribution is meant to  ease  the safety  drinking water difficulty  they have been experiencing in the past.

Prior to the distribution,  Bishop Donyen  demonstrated how to use the  filtering buckets  to purify any water that is dirty and contains gems or bacteria for drinking.

“Unless it’s poison  water, you can take water from   septic tanks, any dirty water of any kind , when passed through the filter, it’s  purified for drinking,” Bishop  Nimley J Donyen  explained.

He used the occasion and took water from his dirty can, passed it through the filter bucket and  drank  it in their presence  which  brought great amazement to the recipients.

He however  encouraged them to use the buckets, after a month, and  come back to   share with him about its effectiveness  and how economical  it’s.
