As tension to making President Weah one term President continues to raise, his former loyalist now chairman of a political pressure group ” The Green Revolution” who is also a prominent Son of Grand CapeMount County, Mr.Varney Gbessay Kromah rallies his kinsmen to give President Weah a bloody nose by making him one term President for paying them with ingratitude over the six years of his realm.
In an exclusive interview with Varney Kromah, he disclosed that people of CapeMount have lost trust and confidence in Weah’s political ambitions as their County continues to struggle from the wrath of the conception companies in their County and the worsening road situation leading to their Capital City “Robertsport”.
According to him, their people have been suppressed by the conception companies ” the Bea Mountain and Mano Palm Oil” with bad labor practice, economic sabotage while the Companies are generating close to Billions dollars yearly.
“They have backslide us and decided to take sides with the companies. They have used their executive power to suppress our people. By the statistic we are receiving from Bea Mountain exportation document, they are taking close to US$11M worth of Minerals weekly from the County but are given us US$200,000 annually which is an insult to the intelligent of the people of Grand CapeMount”, Varney Kromah discloses.
He also accused Weah and the Senate Protempory, Albert Chea
of receiving US$250k monthly from Bea Mountain as a compensation while the people of CapeMount continue to live in abject poverty.
Mr. Varney Kromah added that during the last election, they went home to convince their people to vote Mr. Weah with on basic that he is a grass-rooter, an indigenous with an International connection and lobbying power to bring job opportunities to empower the citizens of Liberia , instead he failed to live by all his promises.
“We thought President weah as an indigenous and grass rooter would have come to our aid even to pay Capemountanians at least US$ 10M yearly as social and corporate responsibility out of US$ 468M worth of Minerals Bea Mountain extract annually from the County”, he emphasized.
Meanwhile, Kromah announced that his Green Revolution movement closely followed the first face of the Biometric Voter Registration BRV process in five out of the six Counties and had previously engaged in Community Voter Registration, Education and Awareness.
“We Cover five of the six counties as per our structures (Bomi, Gbapolu, Grand Cape Mount, Grand Bassa, and Montserrado counties with three major strategies executed by us:
1. Community Voter Education Awareness
2. Mobilization of potential voters and
3. Rallying voters at specific voter registration centers”, Weah Former Loyalist now Chairman of the Green Revolution Movement, told Journalists in Monrovia.
