Busted Expired Goods

Fouani Brothers selling unwholesome goods to the public as management tight-lipped on the recent burst of expired juices sold to a customer.

The Lebanese-run business is located on the bushrod island with head office at the Freeport of Monrovia.

Our investigation unearthed that when customers go to purchase huge consignments of consumable goods the management will mix the purchased goods with some expired goods that are stockpiled in their warehouses.

According to our investigation Founi Brothers is constantly engaged in this ugly and unfair business act. Sources say that the Ministry of Commerce has either compromised it routine inspections exercises at these businesses or they have neglected their responsibility to focus more on the political journey of the commerce Inspector General  Josephine Davis who is contesting in district #10 Montserrado County in the upcoming election.

According to our sources they no longer see the commerce inspector general carrying out her duty as she used to do in the past when she took over and because of that these businesses are endangering the welfare of the public. When we contacted the CEO of Fouani Brothers on his WhatsApp number to respond to the allegations he refused and ignored our messages. We sent several messages and WhatsApp confirmed that he received our messages and read them.

Attached are  photos evidences of the expired goods purchased from Founi brothers in Vai town.
