Bomi Citizens Applaud Western Cluster

Numerous residents, particularly youths in Tubmanburg, Bomi County, have expressed gratitude to Western Cluster Liberia Limited for the rehabilitation of several feeder roads in their communities. 

As part of its corporate social responsibility, the company decided to rehabilitate the roads and has also announced plans to extend its projects to other areas in the county. Joseph Coelho, the Chief Executive Officer of Western Cluster, shared this information with the media over the weekend, emphasizing the company’s commitment to addressing the needs of the people alongside its business operations.

Mr. George D. Gbarlay, Development Chairman of Balasua community, one of the beneficiary communities in Tubmanburg, commended the company for its efforts. He expressed his delight at seeing Western Cluster Limited undertake these projects and urged them not to stop at Tubmanburg but to extend their efforts to other areas as well.

However, he appealed to the company to consider the timing of the projects, particularly with the rainy season approaching, to ensure smooth movement within the community. He also called for attention to other essential infrastructure such as hand pumps and open wells in rural areas.

Madam Myria S. Barclay also expressed gratitude to the company for its work on the feeder roads, stating that the roads were previously in very poor condition. She emphasized the importance of extending the road improvements to other areas beyond Tubmanburg.

In conclusion, the efforts of Western Cluster Liberia Limited in rehabilitating feeder roads in Bomi County have been met with appreciation from the local community, who hope for continued improvements in infrastructure across the region.
