President Joseph Nyumah Boakai’s Deputy Minister for Administration at the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs, Cornelia Kruah Togba goes half-naked, advertising her sexy body, a little black tattoo on her left shoulder for the first time in less than six months in power.
Critics argue that leaders should embody the values of a decent and civilized society. However, they claim Minister Kruah Togba has failed to recognize the importance of her position and is instead using her platform to showcase beauty pageant skills.
Many believe that her actions reflect poorly on Boakai’s government, suggesting it may follow the pattern of former President George Weah’s regime, which was criticized for its officials’ luxurious lifestyles amidst widespread poverty.
Cornelia Kruah Togba, a dedicated member of the Unity Party, previously ran unsuccessfully for a Representative position in Montserrado District #13, losing twice to current lawmaker Edward Papay Flomo.
Additionally, she is the daughter of the current Labor Minister, Cllr. Cooper Kruah, who was briefly nominated for the Justice Minister position by President Boakai before the nomination was reversed due to alleged irregularities.
The video, captioned “Category-Forehead Gang, It’s JUNE Chasing 34,” has sparked public controversy and debate about the conduct of public officials.
