People of Grand Bassa County have sent a caveat to Amb. Joseph Nyumah Boakai from the opposition  Unity Party UP   saying he will lose the County if he fails to choose Senator  Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence as his running mate.

“I am a messenger, sent by my Bassa people to express our concerns.  We will campaign against  Amb. Boakai  from village to village, house  to house  if he chose  different running mate over our political  heroine  denying  our own  daughter Nyomblee  this time around”, Grand  Bassa  district #3 aspirant  Mr. Togar Alexander  Bearded  told Journalists in Monrovia over the Weekend.

He said, the act of Amb. Boakai denying the Bassa people as his running mates shows that the Bassa are insignificant to the Nation  Politics.

According  to him,  the Unity Party  Standard bearer  have constantly denied the People of Bassa region the opportunity to serve  as his running mate including:  Late Charles Brumskine  of the Liberty Party, Toga-Gayewea-McIntosh,  Gbezohngar Findley and now  Senator Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence.

Mr. Togar Alexander  Bearded  however  warned Boakai  to avoid  campaigning in the Bassa  and said Boakai will lose the entire Bassa Region if he makes  any attempt to choose any other running  mate instead of Nyomblee.

Bassa district # 3 aspirant  acknowledged that no amount  of money offered should  determine  who to be a running mate to Boakai  because their  people are far more valuable  than  US$30M which  was said to have been offered to choose  the  political commentator and talk Showhost, Henry Pedro Costa as his running  mate.
