Afric Daily Newspaper– Magibi County:Magibi County Sports Association, MSA benefits L$ 250,000 from a politician vowing for the County Senatorial position, Joseph Yarkpawolo as his own way of identifying with his county team to play in the semifinals in the 2022-2023 County meet tournament.
Presenting the gesture in the County Capital, Kakata to the team steering committee on Saturday December December 7, 2023. Mr. Yarkpawolo said his donation is a way of identifying with MSA as they go to the quarterfinals stage tomorrow.
According to him, the money will serve as a motivation to the players and give them the zest and cause to battle their opposing teams in the 2022-2023 National County meet sports tournament NCMST
Meanwhile, he has made available to the Football team the amount of LD$20,000 to appreciate the first goal scorer in their first game against Montserrado on Sunday December 8, 2023 at the Samuel Karyo Doe SDK sports complex in Paynesville City.
For his part, the MSA Chairperson Abu G. Fofanah appreciated Yarkpawolo and described his gifts as timely.
Margibi Kickball Team is expected to oppose Grand Kru while Margibi Football Team takes on Montserrado County on Sunday’s December 8, 2023 at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports complex in Paynesville.
