ADNews-Monrovia, Liberia: Members of the National Executive Committee of the opposition Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE) will gather at the National Headquarters of MOVEE in Paynesville City on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 9:00A.M. for the First National Executive Committee Meeting in 2026.
The Party’s National Executive Committee Meeting is in compliance with Article 19, 2a of the Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE) 2024 Revised Constitution, which calls for the holding of a National Executive Committee Meeting once every Six (6) months.
The Chairpersons of the Fifteen (15) County Chapters of MOVEE and the current Twenty seven (27) Central National Executive Committee Members of the Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE) are expected to be in attendance. The one day National Executive Committee Meeting will be presided over by the Party’s Political Leader and Standard Bearer, His Excellency Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr. and will afford members of the party’s National Executive Committee to deliberate on matters relating to the status of the party, the Party’s operation, restructuring of county structures, and payment of membership due, amongst others.
Furthermore, the Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr. Women Empowerment and Vocational Skills Training Program will hold its Second (2nd) Graduation Ceremony at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the National Headquarters of MOVEE in Paynesville City for Forty-nine (49) Females who have successfully completed their training in Tailoring and Cosmetology.
The Twenty-fifth (25th) President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, who is the Political Leader and Standard Bearer of the Mighty Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) will be the Special Guest of Honor, and will make special remarks, and present the Certificates of Achievement to the Graduates, while Mr. A. Patrick Sowah, Former President of the University of Liberia Student Union (ULSU), who currently resides in Minnesota, United States of America will serve as a Keynote Speaker.
The Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr. Women Empowerment and Vocational Skills Training Program is an absolutely free Six (6) month-intensive Vocational Skills Training Program, being offered to train Liberian Girls and Women in the Liberian Society, irrespective of social, political, economic, religious, ethnic and geographic background. The Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE) remains committed to its economic empowerment ideology that only an economically empowered people can make a prosperous Nation. The Party will continue to maintain its status as one of the formidable Political Parties within the Opposition Community in Liberia.
